THE GOOD NEWS:
Nice Looking Better Date & Better Grade Coin, The 1849 is a date that is much harder to find. Nicer than many XF coins, but not a full AU grade. Nice date, but the date is a bit weak, maybe from grease in the coin die when the coin was minted. Nice Brown Color, Super Eye Appeal. Full Bold LIBERTY, Nice Hair Details, Nice Rims. Nice Reverse Details show. Low Mintage of 39,864. Has a rotated Reverse. The last picture shows the amount of rotation. Please bid with confidence because I stand behind what I sell.
THE BAD NEWS:
Has some scratches on the reverse under CENT. Sometimes things like this can be expected because these coins were used as real money long ago. Most coins have flaws, it's just a matter of what is acceptable for the grade. Still a very pleasing coin.
