1851 Braided Hair Half Cent, exceptional coin, excellent detail, slab this one.
I have been a coincollector for over 50 years, however I am not a professional dealer nor a coingrader.  The coins I sell are from my personal collection. Coingrading is highly subjective and I do not put grades on my coins.  Ido, however, provide quality photos so that buyers can make their owndeterminations.  I do not use “stock” photos so the coin pictured isthe exact coin you will receive.  I guarantee that each coin isauthentic, but make no guarantee regarding whether any grading service willslab it or give a numerical grade.  I also generally make noassertions about whether a coin may or may not have beencleaned.  Older coins, especially those issued before the twentiethcentury were often cleaned and this can be extremely difficult to detect, especiallyif done long ago.  I will mention defects which are not clearlyvisible in the photograph, but please study the photos carefully, I do not acceptreturns.  I do want buyers to be satisfied with their purchases andam happy to answer any questions promptly or provide additional photos ifrequested.
