    Description

The Half Cent series is such an underappreciated type with some astonishing low mintages and exquisite designs!
This 1851 Braided Hair (late date) Half Cent has razor sharp detail, with full radial stars, and a sharp BOLD strike!
Wonderful coin front and back with glossy surfaces and gorgeous color! There is a chance this coin saw a very light cleaning in the distant past, but she looks to have toned back very nicely.   No major distractions and choice surfaces on this high grade copper!
Small nick or chip in the rim at K12 obverse, almost appears to have been struck that way.
