1855 C-1 PCGS MS 64 RD Braided Hair Half Cent Coin 1/2c

Description

PCGS authenticated and graded MS 64 RD. Nearly full mint red mottled with subtle bluish steel on the upper obverse. Mottled with tiny dark spots across the obverse as well, common on many mint red 1855 half cents traced to a hoard purchased by Charles French during the 1940s, though this example's are less distracting. There is also a carbon speck at M in AMERICA. Satiny full cartwheel luster. Excellent eye appeal. In an old green label PCGS holder.
