A tough 1857 key date braided hair half cent graded MS 63 BN by PCGS. It carries a strong strike throughout both sides with very attractive chocolate brown original surfaces. This date is one of the keys to this short lived series with a very low mintage. A tougher grade to find this date stored in by PCGS.
