Lubegard automotive products developed by International Lubricants, Inc. are the finest high performance protectants available. They are a significant departure from conventional lubricants in that Lubegard products contain Liquid Wax Esters (LXE) derived from multiple seed oil sources, developed in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Prior to the 1972 Endangered Species Act, 30 million pounds of liquid wax esters derived from Sperm whales oil were used annually as additives in virtually all automotive lubricants. Lubegard's unique patented products replicate the molecular structure of Sperm whale oil. The biggest use was in automatic transmission fluids. Fluid changes were very infrequent and in most cases only required every 100,000 miles or possibly not at all. Subsequent Sperm oil substitutes, primarily tallow (pig fat), used as friction modifiers have proved adequate at moderate temperatures but burn, oxidize, pyrolyze and thin out at elevated temperatures. Lubegard's unique, patented products raise the thermal and oxidative stability level of any national brand of lubrication product.

Today's transmissions are more sophisticated and run hotter. By adding Lubegard Automatic Transmission Protectant, all automatic transmission fluids perform at higher temperatures. Lubegard prevents automatic transmission fluid overheating and breakdown into sludge and acids with no adverse affect on seals.

We do offer a 30 day return policy. We reserve the right to apply this policy at our discretion. If you destroy the packaging or send the part back in a non resalable condition, we will not accept it. If you ordered in error, we are reasonable and will work with you. We will accept returns within the 30 days and, as long as the part shows no sign of being installed, issue a refund less shipping and any fees we may have occurred. The item has to be returned in the same condition and with the same package as was sent to you. If it shows sign of installation, the package has been damaged, or there is any other cause for the item to not be considered new, we will either refuse to issue a refund or issue a partial refund.
