    Description

    Rare and unusual antique African wood carved statue of Mother Brest feeding a Child and riding a horse.
    This statue came from North Ghana and was used for a healing purposes of a child. The medicine would go to the jar on a woman's head and then applied with the middle finger to the sick child forehead and face.
    The woman riding a horse has distinctive markings on her forehead and cheeks of been a medicine woman.
    This is a very unique, beautiful and important statue.
    It is attractive to look at it and
    extremely
    collectable.
