Very rare! Beautiful Rosewood antique Collard & Collard 6 foot 8 inch Grand Piano. Built in 1871 - This piano is thought to have come to the U.S in the 1930's. The case is in very good shape with a very ornate music rest and candle holders. No stains anywhere on the piano, no chips, no separating veneer, and no cracked finish. Tuning block in good condition. The strings all match and appear to be in good condition. No rust anywhere. The sound board, ribs and bridges all in good condition. No splits, separation, or bad seams anywhere. It possible that this piano may have been restored at some point. Action alignment is good, some regulation needed, the hammers and felt are in good condition. The Piano underwent an extensive examination for appraisal and tuning in March of 2016 by a RPT certified piano technician with over 40 years in the business and was appraised "as is" at ,500.
