This handsome mid-nineteenth century upright French pianoforte (built in 1867) has a number of distinguishing characteristics to make it a great collector's item.
The stylistic features setting this 19th century masterpiece apart from other pianos of its era include solid brass lettered inlays, ormolu style brass decorations across and around front and sides, side panel handles, oval pewter
bas-relief
medallions, and solid brass candelabras.
This piano has been brought to such a level of excellence as to be suitable as a museum piece as well as a playable instrument for a home. The piano is in perfect working order, having been carefully restored by a master craftsman. The ivory keyboard is in perfect condition and the piano's action has undergone a complete refurbishment.
