Hi , you are bidding on a truly magnificent antique melodeon manufactured by the W.J.Kinnard Company in Cleveland , Ohio circa 1850 . This rare instrument was professionally restored in 2010 ; all the mechanics were completely restored . The original rosewood veneer is in pristine condition with only one small blemish that can be seen in one of the pictures . It is 60" wide , 26" deep , and 32-1/2" tall . Melodeons came before pump organs ; the major difference between the two is that the Meodeon produces its tones by drawing in air through suction . The air passes over metal reeds , activated by foot pedal bellows . This is a truly magnificent and rare musical collectible that will be a statement piece for any home or office . I have listed this item as a Local Pickup Only , but would be happy to assist the buyer in coordinating the shipping . Inspection are welcome . Please ask any questions before you bid . Thank you very much .
