    A protective pac boot design packed with cutting-edge insulating technology, Trans-Alaska Insulated Waterproof Pac Boots for Men keep feet comfortable in the nastiest winter weather. NASA-inspired SolarCore® insulating aerogel barriers under the feet and around the toes retain more heat than traditional insulation, while midsoles made of 1/2" layers of EVA foam and nylon-covered Phylon top a full 3" of cold-blocking material between your feet and the cold surfaces you travel on. Outfitted with a Radiantex™ reflective coating, the boots' removable 13mm Texel® liners reflect heat inward for minimized heat loss. Finally, heat-pack pockets inside the boot allow you to insert toewarmer heat packs for additional warmth when needed. Outside, the Trans-Alaska combines a durable waterproof leather shell with reflective nylon shafts to block out winter temperatures and precipitation. Nylon-ripstop gaiters on top of the boots' shafts feature a cord-locked drawcord to block out snow when wading through deep drifts. Over the foot, triple-layer, abrasion-resistant guards on the toes and heels and rubber toecaps ensure longer wear. 100% waterproof/breathable 4MOST DRY-PLUS™ linings and moisture-wicking moisture-trap footbeds inside the boot help keep feet dry and comfortable. 1-pull ball-bearing lacing system for a fast and easy fit.
