    This is a fetish panel from the Yombe Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo. It serves similar purpose as the Nkisi Nkondi group: evoking benevolent or evil spirits, casting or warding off spells. The panel itself is 21" x 11.5" the Janus head with the horn adds another 10" to it. Front middle there is another carved head, at the bottom there is the magic potion holding covered hole.
