    Description

This Tameo white metal kit is a replica of a Penske Pc17 Chevrolet Indy race car driven by Rick Mears (race winner / pole winner) in Car #5 in the 1988 Indianapolis 500.  Kit includes photo etched parts, decals and instructions.  Photos of the actual car are shown still sealed in the clear plastic packaging and may not be clear.  Kit must be completely assembled.      These models reproduce the single-seater racing cars that participated in all the American Indy motor racing circuits at the end of the 90s. These models continue to be produced using the same technical characteristics and qualities used at the time. The main body and the most important components are manufactured entirely in white metal. The kits include an instruction sheet, a photo of the original racing car and a set of decals. We're proud to offer Tameo kits of Italy to our customers.  We have a passion for fine model kits and like many of you a love for classic cars.  Tameo is the leading manufacturer (artisan) of miniature 1:43 scale all metal race car kits.  Their kits are extraordinary in their detailing, historical accuracy and precision parts.  Tameo is the preferred source of kits for the professional model builders.  They cater to serious collectors and charge hundreds of dollars for each model they assemble and finish.  Tameo kits are for serious modelers only. They require a delicate touch and a passion for detailing.  Tameo produces nearly 500 different models of historic race cars.  We'll have more models in the near future. Please examine these model photos closely and also go to the tameokits.com website. There you can find a wonderful TUTORIAL to set you on a proper path for successful building of these kits.
