Item # 37931
An exceptional Victorian Renaissance period reed or pump organ was carved of solid walnut with burl panels about 1875. Signed "New England Organ Company," there is a sliding key cover.
The playing mechanism has been completely restored and this musical instrument is in great working order with strong volume. Key covers are replaced and a little uneven, see photos.
The restored finish is in excellent condition with a few shrinkage separations from age for a little  antique character. The top tilts open for access to the playing mechanisms.
Measurements are 44 1/2" wide, 25" deep and 66 1/2" tall.
