    Description

    This early 20th century souvenir plate depicts the Church of Immaculate Conception in Syracuse, New York. The Circle of St. Mary's, since renamed, was built in 1885 and still has the oldest electric pipe organ in New York. This fancy 6-inch plate would have been sold as a fundraising effort. The "pierced" edge is a wonderful antique feature, as is the real gold leaf on the border. Made in Germany.
